So I upgraded my pc a few days ago and I bought an i5 6600k, a 212 evo cpu fan to go along with it, a 850w psu and an msi H110m motherboard (since it was quite cheap and had an lga1151 cpu socket). But now, after having installed everything, the 212's fan isn't working, the pc won't turn on, and there's a little light on the motherboard saying there's a problem with the cpu. I don't know what to do, everything else is working ( the gpu is on, the motherboard, etc.)

Solution
Before returning anything, I would take everything out of the case and re-build it on a non-conductive surface (like the motherboard box). Double and triple check all of the connections. Depending on the length of the wires going from the motherboard's front panel header and the power switch, you can set the case nearby and use the power button on the case to start the computer. If not you can momentarily short the 2 power pins on the motherboard's front panel header with a small screwdriver.
