Firstly just so its out there, it seems there is no actual problem with my PC , but for some reason about a month ago my mother board started displaying the debug code "C0" ... normally it displays 'A0'.

Now ive looked in the manual and it says that the error code is "reserved" ... leaving me no explanation really.

i did some looking online but anyone who has had this error code has had a subtle to severe issues tied to this error code and like i said my PC doesnt seem to have any issues at all , to be honest it seems to be running flawlessly ... so that was no use.

ive recently noticed that restarting my PC after booting it the first time switches the debug code back to "A0"

im just looking for some clarification on what this may be :)
thank you!

Hi
Try these steps and post back the results.

  • Re-seat the CPU as bad contact with the pin may be occurring.
Try removing the GPU's and booting of integrated graphics.
Try clearing the CMOS. (Can normally be done with a button or jumper pin).
    Try re-seating the memory.
Try each stick of memory individually.

Post back with the results when you have done this.

Same code here. Same motherboard.

C0 CPU status flag test, CPU register test, memory refresh test

Re-seat the cpu and it will go away.

Just letting you know a simple google search would have told you this also. Many people with the same board have had the same issues.

I tried all of what was suggested and no change , and if you read my description you would see why a simple google search didn't help.

Then RMA it. Pretty simple we have exhausted all other options.
