While NONE of the other machines have this issue... just the Windows Server 2012 R2 DATACENTER machine has this issue....

I am using LAN Messenger on all my machines to bring an easy of file transfers and communications.

Though old, its still a great tool! Find it HERE

I've poked them for support and received an email from a rather surprised individual stating that the original support has withered and died as they sold the rights to the program to some other company and i looked into it and its like $99 per computer to use it now, yeah... gonna stick with Mr. Freebie here...

So i'm doing the best i can with what i got...
I've been Port Hopping on my server like a mad monkey on a hot floor, because for SOME reason beyond me... The server OS follows the LAN Messenger ports and occupies them before the program can use it...
How can i go in and tell the server to RESERVE that port for the program and not to touch it! I'm losing my patience, this has been going on for about a year now.

I've configured Windows Firewall to pretty much dedicate the usage of that port to LAN Messenger, and yet it still happens, and i can't be going all around the house to update the ports every time my server has a temper tantrum because it wants candy or IT WILL DIE!!!!!!

Thank you in advance, i'll post pictures below to show problems.

I really wish it were as simple as, "Setup Windows Firewall Rules to allow access" and in the case for my Teamspeak Server, it was, but with LMC, god no, that would be WAY too convenient now wouldn't it.

I'm cranky, constipated, and frustrated, a nuclear bomb could go off next door and i wouldn't even care... at this point, after chugging some prune juice, there's nothing more explosive than me. Now i would REALLY appreciate a $5.5K OS to behave like it's damned price tag and be "worth a damn" otherwise i'm gonna be looking to trade for a copy of Vista, since that actually functions better with port management...
