What i want to know is how i go about purchasing these items at price after the rebate. Ive never purhased anything from Newegg or NCIX before, ive just arrived in Canada. Should i go to the store in person to purchase these products or do i order them?

Another question, the parts that ive chosen are the cheapest they ever get/gotten and i was wandering if i should go ahead and purchase it now or wait for Black Friday and stuff here. I need the PC the 1st of December, im staying at a relatives house, and until i get my own house, which i will move into at the 1st dec, so right at the moment im in no hurry to complete my build.

Any wise advice, opinions and suggestions regarding this will be valued and greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Price for that mobo is still $39.98 after mail in rebate from NCIX, same as it was in your original post...

And yes, sometimes things go out of stock. Especially when Newegg was selling it for at least $40 cheaper than everyone else. Although, did you actually check if it was in stock when you first made your part list? I've noticed several instances where pcpartpicker will list a part as being available at an unusually low price from a single retailer, but when I follow the link the item is out of stock and not actually available at that price.

When I said I can't see prices going up, I meant overall. The price on any given item can fluctuate over time as it goes on sale, gets mail in rebates, etc, but on average it's unlikely that...

Price - $100
Mail in Rebate - $20
Advertised "price after rebate" - $80

At checkout, you give them $100.
They give you the part.
You fill out all the online forms and send the relevant bits cut off the box or shipping label.
2 months later, they send you a $20 Visa gift card.

Plus, that $20 gift card will only be sent to the actual address where the item was shipped. Or if bought in store, the billing address on the card that was used.

It is a general purpose card. You can spend it anywhere.
A case of beer, perhaps. Partial purchase on some other part in the future.

If you find something that looks like a good deal on Friday, I would just buy it. Don't think it's worth waiting until Monday in the hope that it might be even cheaper.

My experience shopping for computer parts last Black Friday/Monday in Canada is that you're probably not going to find many crazy deals. There were some discounts on GPUs, but nothing huge (I think I saved ~$20 on an R9 380). There was very little in the way of CPU discounts, although I was looking at Skylake CPUs which were pretty newly released at the time. I think there may have been some pretty good prices on SSDs (wasn't shopping for one at the time), but you probably have to be on the ball to get one of the really good deals before they sell out.

One of the issues is that if you've parted out your PC based on parts with good reviews, features you need, etc., there's no guarantee that those are the parts that will go on sale.

I understand, but more recently computer part prices in Canada are coming on par with prices in the US. Another thing, do you think even though the the exact parts that i picked wont go lower for black friday, would they atleast stay the same price and not get higher during black friday? Do you think it is a good idea to purchase any parts now? Do you also live in Canada? Are there any good places besides Newegg/NCIX to watch out for black friday good deals?

I can't see any reason why prices would go up. Yeah, if you see a part you've had your eye on get any sort of meaningful discount, I'd probably just go ahead and buy it right away, assuming you're going to get the rest of the components relatively soon after.

I do live in Canada. A couple other places I've got parts from in the past are Canada Computers and MemoryExpress. I think both of them only have stores in certain parts of the country, but you can always order online. I find memory express's prices usually aren't that competitive at first glance, buy they have a price match policy.

For instance, the price for that mobo will obviously go up after the mail in rebate period ends (Nov 29). But it in the future it could go on sale, or probably get another MIR (it seems like ASRock has mail in rebates going almost constantly).
