Here are the steps I took:

1. Uninstalled all old drivers using ddu
2. Shutdown computer and unplugged
3. Installed graphics card
4. Booted computer

At first I had two monitors plugged in and one of them froze on the bios.

Then I plugged my old graphics card back in and it booted perfectly.

Enabled safe mode on minimal and replugged new graphics card. I am now just getting a black screen and my LG monitor says "Reader Off".

Tried using the second DVI port, same story.

PSU: 650W
Old graphics card: AMD radeon HD 6670
New graphics card: ASUS radeon r9 380
Latest BIOS update
Motherboard is old though, Intel DP55WB

What's the issue here?

After further research, it turns out my motherboard's BIOS isn't compatible with the r9 380 for some reason in relation with UEFI. If someone could clarify this I would appreciate it. If there is a way to tweak my BIOS in order for it to be compatible with my graphics card, that would be amazing. Thank you!
