I sincerely apologize for this thread, as I've found threads relating to my question but not receiving a clear and reassuring answer.
I've been researching for hours on this.
I've recently upgraded from an FX 6300 to an FX 8350 and have started getting stuttering in games or fps drops. I never had this issue before, so after some research I've learnt that my Asus
M5A78L-M isn't capable of handling this CPU and the VRMs are overheating and causing the issues.

After spending €400+ on upgrades in the last few weeks, I'm a bit broke, so I'm looking at the Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Rev 2.0 which looks great as it fits my build theme.

I have no plan on overclocking my 8350 anytime soon so I was wondering will this motherboard be stable and help me get rid of my torturous problem?

Thanks

Yes the UD3P is a solid motherboard and would help your problem.

I guess there is no chance you could send the FX8350 back? I would rather take this opportunity to switch over to Intel than buy another old AMD board.
