Specs:
intel i7 6700
Asus h170 progaming
Gtx 980
Msi core frozr l cpu cooler
8gb ddr4 ram

My pc was running perfectly fine but i decided that i wanted to change my pc case so i bought an nzxt h440
I rebuilt the system in the h440 but when i turn it on the led on the motherboard goes from cpu to dram and stays solid red on dram all fans turn on and then the pc keeps powering off then on until i power it off i am sure that every cable is plugged in (i am using extention cables i tried the originals as well though) could i have maybe killed my ram through static discharge since i wasnt wearing an anti static wrist strap.

There is also another weird thing happening dont know if its related but when i plug the monitors hdmi cable into the gpu everything powersoff until i remove it

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Wolfgang99 : "asus h170 progaming dram red led"

specs:
asus h170 progaming mb
inter i7 6700
gtx 980
msi core frozr L cpu cooler

my pc was working perfectly i decided to change my case so i rebuilt it into the nzxt h440
when i power up the system all fans spin normally the dram led lights up solid red and there is no display the system stays on no reboots until i power it off. I made sure all cables were plugged in even though i use cable extensions i i only have 1 ram stick so i tried placing it in every slot and still the led lights up
could i have damaged anything through static discharge because i wasnt wearing an anti static wrist strap although i didnt feel or hear anything
