CPU fan sounds like chimes?

Hello,

So I've never had an issue with this fan before, or the CPU so this is a first for me, I apologise if I leave anything important out.

Tonight I turned on my desktop, and as it was just loading up windows, I started hearing a strange clicking sound, which quickly turned into a chime like sound. So I took the side off and found it is definitely my CPU fan. I cleaned it out to make sure there was no dust or anything inside of it, but it hasn't helped.

It's not running hot, not overclocked, it's a few years old, bought new. Apart from it being an Intel I'm not entirely sure what it is sorry.

Does anyone know what's wrong with it? And more importantly can I still use the computer for a few days until I can get a replacement?

This is the sound it's making, it sounds like it's hitting something, but I'm positive it's not.

That sounds like the fan blade tips are hitting the heatsink fins. Possibly the fan bearing has dropped slightly and the fan is now sitting a bit too close to the heatsink fins. The Intel logo suggests its a stock Intel cooler and a replacement is cheap enough.
