Hi guys,

A few nights ago while I was playing Overwatch, my PC suddenly rebooted and when it did, nothing was showing on the monitor.

I opened up the case and switched to onboard graphics and then the display started showing, so monitor is definitely working.

Then I looked to my graphics card and noticed the fan wasnt spinning; Thinking that it might be a motor issue, I checked Device Manager to see if Windows detects it. However, the graphics card was not found.

This lead to me believe either
1. The graphics card is completely gone
2. The 6-pin power cable is faulty

However, i do not have another PC where I could test my hypothesis. With all of your experiences so far, what would you suggest I do?

Here are my system specs;
Intel i5-6500
MSI Bazooka Motherboard
GeForce GTS450 (about 5 to 6 years old now)
500 W PSU

Thanks in advance guys.

Cheers,
Tattertron

Yeah, sounds like it over did itself. I would recommend a GTX 1050 ti for a replacement around $120-140. Good luck!
