Hi There,
I know very little about computers and am in way over my head. I have a Dell Optiplex 755 that was purchased around 5 years ago and I need to identify a video card that will work for very rudimentary visual stimuli (nothing fancy, the most complex would basically be Atari level stuff). I have been told that a memory size of 256 MB will be sufficient but also that I need to be cautious in selecting a card as many will not work with this machine due to it being an older build. I am open to buying a used or refurbished card and would prefer to go for an inexpensive option (~$20 if possible). Would something like an NVIDIA GeForce 6200 work or is is necessary to provide additional details of the system to figure this out? Sorry, I am totally clueless about this stuff!
Thanks!
Sarah
