Hi guys,
I wonder if any you can help. I would like to get another Asus 1080 after xmas. My PSU is a Corsair 750w. You can see my full system in here: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/NcP22R This website says that my sytem needs 439W and I saw in different sites that one single Asus 1080 in full load needs around 350w, this number changes a lot depending where I check. If anyone can confirm how much needs one single asus 1080 in full load would be very helpfull.
That makes 790w in total according to those numbers. I need to mention that I OC my CPU i56600k to 4,5Hz and also the GPU to 1942MHz. Maybe is better and cheaper to sell out the 1080 practicality new, and get the 1080 TI when comes out, What do you think guys? Also about the performance of 1080 SLI. Is it good enough and worth it in these days? I would like to put my monitor 2k 165hz to the limit in ultra and with one single 1080 is not enough :)
I see this forum and I feel like SLI is not the best option anymore. I would like to hear you pguys please and thank you!

If a 1080 Ti is an option for you; i'd buy the ti just because most games can't take full advantage of Sli + Sli isn't the best solution for VR.

I use to run Sli GTX 660SC + 3570k @ 4.4Ghz on a 850W power supply. I used a wattage meter plugged into the wall to measure the total wattage of the system with Intel Burn Test and a GPU stress test running at the same time. Wattage meter measured a max of 490 ish wattage. Assuming you draw 600W max; you'd hit the 80% usage mark of your PSU.

edit: I believe the calc on websites for my system back then suggested a 1,000W PSU. I think the PSU requirements listed for video cards assumes the worse. IE: Most power hungry CPU, max ram, fans, and a low quality PSU. Like PSUs that can't provide...

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate :)
I cant use VR due headache :( But also thinking in money, another GTX 1080 will be around 730€. To get the 1080 TI would cost me around 400€ if they cost 1000€. I plan sell my GTX 1080 for around 600€ that is good prize for where I live... That makes 400€ investment instead 730€. So yeah now I took the decision!

Thanks a lot!
