i want to try overclocking for the first time. and have come across some guides on how to do it, but "the one i found includes a step where you overclock your ram and change your "dram timing selectable" and i don't excactly get how to do that. so i was wondering if i could just change the multiplier?

Solution
Overclocking RAM is rarely ever necessary, unless you keep MANY programs open. Still even if you want to, yes. You just change the multiplier. Have you read up on safe overclocking in those guides? If not I suggest you do.
