I got an XBOX 360 a couple days ago (2009, old fat model) and I've had three other ones in the past and never had this issue. Every 3 to 10 minutes my XBOX Live connection will randomly disconnect. It wouldn't be a big deal except that I'm trying to re-download my large games and I keep having to start over.
It's connected over ethernet, I've got both ethernet and wifi in my house. I was using a ethernet powerline adapter. The internet speeds test as 5MB down when its working so that should be fast enough to maintain connection. I can always log right back in after it kicks me off.
Things I've checked and tried:
And probably a few other things I can remember, Any ideas? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

Things I've checked and tried:
Using internet connection sharing from laptop instead of powerline adapter.
Using a different ethernet cable.
Using a different port.
Resetting my modem and router.
Making sure uPnP is on in the router settings.
Clearing the XBOX's Cache.
Deleting my Profile and re-downloading it.
And probably a few other things I can remember, Any ideas? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.
