Corsair Vengeance LED differences?

Hey guys, I've found 2 versions of seemingly the exact same set of ram :

Newegg (CMU32GX4M2C3200C16) http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820236093

NCIX (CMU32GX4M2C3200C16R) http://www.ncix.com/detail/corsair-vengeance-led-32gb-2x16gb-d8-133463.htm

The only difference(s) I can see is that the CAS timing is 16 (Newegg) vs 15 (NCIX), the model number (NCIX version has an R at the end) and the obvious 10$ difference.

Am I missing something?

That NCIX listing seems to be in error. Corsairs own site lists that exact model number as CAS 16. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-led-32gb-2-x-16gb-ddr4-dram-3200mhz-c16-memory-kit-red-led-cmu32gx4m2c3200c16r

okay they are telling a white lie. If you click on full product sheet on NCIX it will tell you the tested speed is 16-18-18-32 at 3200MHz. It works at 15-15-15-36 at the non-OC 2133MHZ

You were right, it's the led color these also come in white or blue LEDs in addition to Red
