So I just built my PC and found out one of the RAM sticks is dead, I was wondering if I were to go through with everything install windows etc. because it would take a while to contact the people to change the RAM sticks and before they arrive, anyways, so I was wondering if I were to install windows and everything would I be able to change the RAM sticks out after a few days without any problem?
Bought 16 gb of ram 2x8 gb and one of them is dead, so running on 8 gb of ram, is gonna be 16 gb of ram

Went To A Store And Said I Want A 2x8 gb Ram He Said Form The Brand U Want I Got 1x8gb So I Bought It And Installed My Windows And Played Some Games!!!!
After 7 Days I Went Again And Bought The 2nd One
I Know Ur Situation Is A little Bit Different But It Should Make No Problem Bacause Still The 8Gb Ram Which Is Alive And Active Can Handle Ur Works

Yep, as said above you can install Windows just fine. Changing RAM isn't something that requires anything more than installing the stick or sticks. Windows will automatically detect it.
