Blower fans vs normal fans?

I have been looking for a new graphics card lately. Specifically a 1070. The cheapest one is from ASUS and it is the blower fan style. My 970 has 3 fans on it and I'm not sure what the difference is or if it matters. I want to know the differences between the two. Thanks in advance

it will run hotter

though will vent more hot air out the case than the 970 you have thats better at cooling the gpu but does dump the heat inside the case

and a lot of the non reference fan ones are overclocked or use higher grade components

any 1070 is a good card

personally i dont buy reference models but thats just my choice

how much cheaper is it than the cheapest non reference blower one?

reference is the blower type you asked about

non reference will have 2 or more fans and not the type of plastic cover you see on that one

thats if 1 is top left 4 top right

until recently evga would be on my list but the thermal pad fiasco has put me off a little

but looks like its only 10 dollars more than the reference blower so any of those 4 you prefer really
