this is my friends problem btw, but im just asking here for help regarding how to get replacements and refunds and what im entitled to as far as refunds go

he told me that he was just using his computer normally, and it turned off and wouldnt power back on

he tried opening the pc to see what was wrong, and burned his hand in the process
noticed that both his nvidia gtx 1080's were hot and burning, in fact one of them was half melted

his entire computer was damaged, the motherboard was melted as well, cpu doesnt work

if he calls up nvidia, they'll replace the gpu's, im assuming. something obviously went terribly wrong with the cooling system, and probably more... (shouldnt the computer power off when it gets to a certain temperature anyways)

as for the other damaged components, what can be done?

literally whole computer was rendered useless and destroyed by the intense heat generate by the two 1080s he has receipts for all the parts as the computer is mostly all new he built the thing in july or august is it possible that nvidia will replace his entire computer? seems like a stretch but at the very least they're going to replace the gpus right

he'd call them now but they're closed just thought i'd make this thread in advance.

thanks for any answers.
