Gtx 770 on a 500w psu?

Hey NoahChizz,
It will work; as in your computer will turn on and function for browsing and possibly light gaming, however if you are playing graphics intensive games the GPU will begin to pull more power as needed, and if your PSU maxes out then your system will shut down which may lead to other hardware failures.
In other words your system will overall be unstable, I would not recommend risking it.

As you can see there ... nvidia says 600 watts / Guru 3D says 550 ... more if overclocking anything
Using for short time under light / medium duty till replacement arrives - OK
All night gaming marathons wither everything OC = NWNH (no way, no how)
Moderate gaming w/ small OC - you might get away with it.
The CX series PSUs were pretty poorly reviewed. Lotta folks had issues with caps. newer CXM is better but still not something I'd choose.

CX500 has two 8-pin PCIe cables, you're good! Also I'm in doubt of your 375W I7-6700 and GTX 970 systems. Maybe if it's measured from the wall and with overclocks then yes. But otherwise, no.
