Hey guys! As Black Friday/cyber Monday approach, I'm looking to upgrade my current custom built pc, but am unsure what parts i should upgrade. I'm thinking either the graphics card or the cpu but don't know which would be considered 'worse' than the other. any help on which one would be better to replace to make my pc faster and more able to run games better would be appreciated.
I currently have
Motherboard: ASUS M5A99FX PRO
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB ACX Video Card
CPU: AMD FX-9370 4.4GHz 8-Core OEM/Tray Processor

I'm gonna tell you right now ; there will be sales, but not really enough to make it worth waiting for imo ; while you can try, I'd figure it will be like "oh I can get 7% off today! maybe it will go down more tomorrow! ah crud it's only a $5 mail in rebate! riiip!"

Anywho

Your CPU is the 2nd from the top of the food chain. There is a .3 GHz difference between that and the top, which can be achieved by overclocking honestly.
Your GPU is something like 2 generations outdated. What are you looking to play? (Gaming system I take it) What is your total budget?

If nothing is giving you problems, I personally would wait a year and build a whole new system. If your video card is underperforming, I would pick up an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060...

If your CPU is underperforming, you might want to do what I said earlier in this post and wait to make an entire new PC if you can.
