Battlefield 1 is running very poorly for me...

I have an AMD 880K at 4.2Ghz and an RX 460 at 1222Mhz. I am aware my CPU is the bottleneck as its FM2+ and old architecture but it was all I could afford for my build without having to get a lesser GPU. So BF1 literally runs the same on the lowest possible visual settings (800X600 in game files) with all things turned off, to the absolute lowest, as maxed out at 1080p does, its really weird. I get 35-45 on average with dips into 20s on any setting, no matter how much I mix it up or turn stuff off, exactly the same unless I stare at a wall or into the distance then it goes to 50. Surely that isnt right?? Is this just because BF1 is new and needs some work + Driver revisions?

Solution
Needs some work, driver revisions... but your CPU is holding it back at the end of the day. Turning your res from 1920*1080->800*600 with no change in FPS == CPU bind.
