Well it will "work", will you get the best out of it? Not so sure. If you want to get a beast GPU you should better look for components that will not bottleneck the performance of it. :)

If you only want to do gaming on it, go on get it, but if it is anything else it will most likely suffer in performance. Because the motherboard is small you most likely have a small case too. Look first of all if the gpu dimensions fit in your case.

Ok Great. Go for it mate. You didn't mention your RAM. 8GB RAm is ok but if you have 16GB you would be great(not so important but if you want to have max performance it is a no brainer). Your case should fit any type of cards but if you go with a Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming things might get a little bit tight with the cable management for a clean look.
