Hi i have spent few weeks trying to organize a build for few simulators like raceroom and assetto corsa... to be honest this has been nightmare to get together as i have been using an old pc with athlon x2 240 with 4gb ram and gt 430 .. oof its annoying.. so i am a bit behind with technology but trying to get as much info as i can before i continue with new build ..

I have so far ...

Mobo - MSI AMD A68HM
Gpu - ASUS GTX750TI-OC-2GD5
Case - CORSAIR SPEC 03 Mid Tower Orange LED
Psu - CORSAIR CX500 80+ Bronze PSU
HD- NOT BOUGHT YET
SSD- IN FUTURE

I have spent the last couple of days trying to figure out which cpu will work best with this gpu..
i was going to go for AMD Athlon X4 860K but read it gets hot and with non stock cooler will cover one of ram slots .. so i dont no what to do regarding cpu .. obviously the case is quite big but i like space and lots of airflow.. other option was AMD Athlon II X4 880K 4 GHz ... or should i get the new AMD A10-7890K. pretty limited with cash tho tops £120 for both cpu and ram

If anybody can help me out i would really appreciate it i have googled a lot but dont seem to be getting the answers i want regarding heat and cpu...

Also with 3 kids and nearly i year of saving up i really cant mess this up hence why the build has come to a stop for now .

Many Thanks.

X4 845 CPU will limit the PCI-E x16 slot to run in x8 mode. It limits your GPU power quite a bit.

How about those parts.

Few words.

Even though X4 845 and X4 860 are fairly similar by performance, X4 860 won't limit the PCI-E lanes to 8 and your GPU can use all 16 lanes.
Also, the CPU is K-series, so you can OC (overclock) it and get more juice out of it if you need it.

Put in Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler to cool your CPU down. Do note that it's in the AMD nature to run hotter than their Intel counterpart.
I have AMD build as well (specs in my signature) and do know first hand how hot AMD CPU can get.

For RAM, went with Kingston. It's cheaper than G.Skill while offering the same performance.

Edit:
If you kick out the CPU cooler, the CPU and RAM will be well within your budget.

Hyper 212 EVO doesn't block the RAM slots and you can use any size RAM sticks with it.
specs: http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-evo/

Here's also a comparison between AMD Wraith stock cooler and Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO,
link: http://wccftech.com/amd-wraith-cooler-hyper-212-evo/
This comparison site also offers video comparison (at the bottom of the article).
To put it short, Hyper 212 EVO is a bit quieter and it cools a bit better under load than AMD Wraith.
