So I've been having a few issues with my limited storage space and was wondering if I could take out my 13 pin optical drive and using a 13 pin to 22 pin adapter to plug in an old Seagate Barracuda. I don't really care if it fits in the slot but rather if the hard drive would still work if I just plugged it in as is.
