Hi everyone,
Recently 1 stick of ram went bad
(KVR1333D3N9/4G - checked both sticks, one turned out to be bad)
so this left me with just 1 stick - 4gb or ram,
the closest thing i can find to adding another 4gb to bring me back to 8
is this, KVR13N9S8/4
The motherboard is this GA-P67A-UD3-B3
I was realy close to ordering the second stick of ram this morning till i saw a post about someone having issues with ram being "single sided" or "dual sided", ( not sure if thats the correct term or not, having chips on both sides of the stick or just 1 side, indicated by the G in the end. )
Anyway to sum up, can someone please have a look at the motherboard specs and the two different sticks or ram and please tell me if i should go ahead and get the second stick or not?
What i am going to be having is
2 sticks of ram 4gb + 4gb (KVR1333D3N9/4G + KVR13N9S8/4) on an asus motherboard (GA-P67A-UD3-B3)
Thanks in advance
