Hello in 2013 I custom built a desktop for myself, currently it's running very slowly and I would like to get back into gaming, here are some of the specs for the computer regarding the internal hardware:

Hard Drive: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 ST1000DM005/HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL
Graphics: XFX Radeon HD 5770 DirectX 11 HD-577X-ZMF3 1GB 128-Bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity
Processor: Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield Quad-Core 2.66 GHz LGA 1156 95W BX80605I5750 Processor
I was suggested to get a solid state drive to assist with the speed and was looking at this one:
Seagate Momentus XT ST500LX003 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Solid State Hybrid Drive Bare Drive
Any other thoughts on what I should get to speed this up, I know Ram is a big issue but I don't know what is compatible with my motherboard?
