So as the tittle said i purchased another set 2x4GB corsair ram.

However, i cannot get my pc to use them.
When i'm in my BIOS and i look at my slots, each slot detects the stick of RAM.

I have played around with my slots, and all of my RAM sticks are healthy but just wont seem to get detected when they are all inserted together.

They are installed in pairs so, one set is in A1,B1, the other set is installed into A2,B2.

My motherboard is a asus sabertooth z77.

Edit: both sets are 1600mhz and DDR 3
one set of sticks is version 2.12, the other ones are version 4.24
I have also managed to get one stick of each set working together, but i wont get past the 8GB mark for some reason..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

so, its entirely possible that they in fact do not match? Also i tried raising the volt, and nothing changed.

Alright, i guess this answers my question. But do you know why i'm able to use one stick of each set with the other one, but not both of them, seems so weird..
