HI,
I currently use a Digilite DL-IPMB-H61 board with Intel Core i3-2120 @3.30Ghz and a crosair 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM.

I want to know if I can replace the existing RAM with one with higher frequency,ie, with a 1600Mhz or above RAM. Or if I add another RAM with 1600Mhz frequency , will it work with my board?

Kindly provide me a solution

Basically, adding more RAM means that your PC will be able to run more programs at one time (ex. Keeping multiple tabs open on Google Chrome). If you run out of RAM at one point, that's when PC performance begins to drop. You can view how much RAM you have available and are using by opening "Task Manager". Even if you still have enough RAM to get by, adding another stick of RAM does not provide a significant amount of performance for you to notice everyday, but will keep you from worrying about not having enough RAM. Also when it comes to adding more RAM, be...

And Also I Dont Think So U can ACtivate The Xmp Profile Because Maybe Mobo Or Sandy Bridge Cpus Cant Support Em
Best regards khd

Also when it comes to adding more RAM, be sure to use the same model, frequency, capacity, etc as your other RAM sticks. I've heard 8GB of RAM is the sweet spot for games nowadays.

Yea you can replace your ram with the ram which supports overclocking, but make sure your mb also supports ram overclok otherwise it will downgrade your ram to its default 13333Mhz
