Is the Sapphire Nitro R9 380 4G graphics card good for gaming?

Solution
Yeah its quite good for that price.

Other options would be spending another 60euro for a RX470 4G, or at the used market for a GTX 970.

Sapphire Nitro, Powercolor PCS+,XFX (can't recall exact model) and MSI Gaming 8G are the better of the AMD custom cooler options. The R9 380 is a solid choice though there may be better options out now. Living in Canada prices would differ but I would compare prices of the 380 with those of a 390, 390x (if on a great sale only), 480, GTX 960, 970, 1060. I would compare those prices. To give you an idea, I would place them in the following order of lowest power to highest: gtx 950, 960, r9 380, 390=gtx 970, 390x, 1060, 980, 1070. They are incremental differences in performance but if a higher end one falls into your budget I would hop on the deal.

Edit: I didn't list the Rx 4xx series as I haven't followed it's progress. I would recommend looking up benchmarks of the games you play or wait for another response for those cards.
