Hi all, i have recently 3 weeks ago built my own desktop
CPU: I5-6500
MOBO: MSI Mortar Arctic
RAM: Ballistix Sport 2x8GB
PSU: Seasonic M12II
GPU: EVGA GTX 1060 6GB
Storage Crucial 275GB SSD, 1TB Western Digital HDD
OS: Windows 10 Home Edition OEM
Case: Fractal Design Define S

It worked perfectly fine and i was playing games like Overwatch and CSGO on it. 5 minutes ago i was in the middle of a game and suddenly i had a "no connection detected" and my computer went on off on off like this video, where the cpu fan and case fans would go on and off.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9OtkHvkRD0&feature=youtu.be
The video, note the back case fan is NOT connected to anything and is not on at all. Only the case fan at the bottom is connected. The LED is seperately powered by AC.
The LED blinking red is on CPU part of the the MSI MORTAR ARCTIC which claims to help me find the damaged component.

An attempt that i tried to do was the plug out the power pins from the motherboard that powers the CPU. every fan will start to work consistently but i still couldn't get the display to show anything.

I tried restarting it a few times, i kept getting the same results. suddenly, it booted up and i was happy and i thought it worked, but i realised my keyboard plugged in by USB wasn't working although my mouse was. i replugged my USB cable and suddenly i got the same problem as the video once again.

After several restarts,
Now, it has became worst, the red LED on the motherboard is a solid red light (no longer blinking) and the CPU fan is working, however all of the case fans and GPU are not spinning. (Notice the case fan at the bottom of the case and the two fans on the right) plus no boot up

Can anyone help me troubleshoot or tell me which part is damaged so i can get it warrantied? I am really worried because this is my first time building it is my motherboard the damaged part? Thank you! (I don't really have spare money to buy new parts to test out which one is working...)
I think it's the MOBO or the CPU?

Solution
Hi all, problem is solved.

Not sure why but when i brought down my CPU/RAM/MOBO/PSU they are all working fine. I just requested for new PSU cables and did try them, but then it seemed to work once i unplugged the PSU cables from the motherboard and plugged it back in. It sounded similar to a particular answer i've googled on

Had the same problem with an HP Pavilion PC. Called tech support and they resolved the issue. They had me unplug everything to the machine, including the power cable. I thought the guy was just following his checklist, but you can imagine how surprised I was when my computer booted up

Thanks for the help
