I just built a new gaming computer. it has a i7-6700 8m 4ghz proc with 16 gb of drr4 ram at 2400 and a gtx 9700 video card with a 500 ssd hard drive. I thought it was the hard drive cause it loads slow and has the blue thinking thing around the mouse. The motherboard is ASUS ROG MAXIUS VIII extreme. I have installed the disk for the motherboard and updated my drives. Not sure how to post what specs I have so if someone can let me know how to I can copy them here

The slow loading points toward a hard drive problem. Your furmark test is right in place with the GTX 980 averages, so it isn't a problem with graphics. Your display is irrelevant, so the only problems left would be RAM, CPU and HDD. A CPU problem generally comes with a lot of failures, and you don't seem to be having any. Seeing as how you have 18gb DDR4, it seems like you mixed and matched different sizes of RAM sticks, which isn't recommended, but unless they give you errors and crashing, wouldn't cause your problem.

The only thing left is the HDD. You mentioned that it is a '500 ssd hard drive'. Does this mean that it is an SSD or a hybrid SSD/HDD?. How full is it? When drives get full, their performance decreases massively and could cause the computer to get stuck loading. Get a program such as CrystalDiskMark to measure your read/write speeds and post them. And also, try to find out exactly what disk you have and post it. With this information we can probably figure out what exactly is going on.

ran the crstaldiskmark

seq Q32T1 read was 548.4mbs write 518.4
seq4kq32ti read 113.6 write 104.2
seq read was 508.4 write 494.5
4k read 37.34 write 70.28

I just ran the settings at 5 1gib and 18% 86/465gib
