GPU doesn't work - New PC

Hey guys,

So I built a new PC today - Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3P and the GPU is a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6G. When I start the PC, the fans start spinning and then turn off for some reason.
I have my monitor plugged into the GPU with a HDMI cable and I have visual, but my GPU's fans are not spinning anymore and my system doesn't detect the card. It's connected to a 500W PSU, which should be enough.
I've been searching the internet for a couple of hours and I'm kind of pulling my hair out here.

Can you help me out please

the fans will only spin above a cer5tain temperature like 60c

google the video card and install the drivers
everything seems ok.

That's the problem. Not everything's ok. The drivers can't be installed, because the GPU "isn't there". :\

are you sure its seated correctly? it may take a bit more force than u think.

Is the motherboard bios set to use the integrated graphics?

are you sure you have installed the video card detection bios?

turn the intergrated graphics on, and install alll the bios software you can from that link i've send u .

I've done that and now it shows Intel(R) HD Graphics 530, alongside the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. That's not my GPU, is it ?

yes that are your onbaord graphics

now download your way down, and no thats not your gpu yet but we will get there.

Restarted and ran the intel vga driver again - PC "runs into problems" and restarts - no GPU in device manager

It boots normally. Can get in BIOS - do I even need to run that intel vga driver again? Or just download the rest of the drivers on that link ?

I seem to be unable to install the Intel Management Engine Interface due to a "fatal error"..

I installed it once and restarted, then the Intel HD Graphics 530 showed up.
Then I tried to install it again (multiple times) and my PC gave a message that something went wrong and it needs to restart, and does so.

There's a PCIEX4 and a PCIEX16 slot, it's in the 16 one. Is that correct?
