I just upgraded windows 10 with a new install on a new SSD and now it says installed memory : 16 GB but only 2.92 usable. What is happening?

Solution
yup, that's it. I don't even think about that anymore... No reason to run 32bit OS on any current system

64bit... Reload the OS clean as 64bit.
I uses what s needs at the time... I run Win10 on this rig. 16GB RAM. currently w/ all the crap I have running it is using only 3.5GB.

Even while gaming it never gets close to using all 16. I've even set my page filing as low as I can get away with and not have it freak out. 256 - 1024(MB) on C and 512-2048(MB) on D.

Never have issues.

Are talking about RAM or SSD space?

Talking about the ram and not what it's just using. Normally using only like 1.7 gb but it's saying the system reserved space is 13.1 GB, so the most it could ever use is 2.9 gigs. Seems way too big for a system reserved amount. Also, just tried clearing CMOS.

Says 32 bit system, x-64 based processor. So do I need to install a 64 bit?
