So I just got a new motherboard, the Gigabyte GA-990fx-Gaming, because my old one died. On my old one (Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P) I was able to overclock my CPU to 4.7GHz @ 1.44v stable at 50 Celsius load temp. With my new motherboard, which has a slightly updated bios and a better chipset, I can't go above 4.0GHz or windows will crash no matter how high I put the voltage. I can't figure out why it can handle +500MHz but no more, even with the voltage at 1.45. Is anybody else having this problem or know how I can solve it?
