so I have a i3-4160 paired with GA-H81M-S2PV and also,

i5-3470 paired with GA-H61M-S2PV

I have these two motherboard and cpu's that I have collected from the old computers, and I still want to use one of the set on my new computer, but I could not see which one would fit for me so
I am here to ask! (oh and I am think about buying the gtx 1060 so it's important to see which would fit better on the gpu also.) I wish I could set up a pcpartpicker and give it to you guys, but I could not find the H81M motherboard so sorry!

1st I am going to use it for the gaming, like overwatch and some 3d gaming...
I would like to run around 70fps avg on ultra.
2nd I am going to use SSD which i3-4160 has sata 3 but i5-3470 motherboard only supports sata 2

now plz let me know what would be a great idea! thank you guys!

I do think that for the most and than I thought, it is 2yrs older and it could only send 3gb ssd speed, so even with this condition you would still use with i5?

The SSD performance is something you have to make your decision on and decide if a few seconds here and there mainly during boot up is worth it or not. In my opinion since you want to game and games don't really benefit from SSD's but do greatly benefit from quad core CPU's then I'd choose the quad core.

SSD still makes a huge difference on an SATA-2 bus. I have two in SATA-2 laptops and they're remarkably quicker than with a platter drive.

I'd rather have the i5 for the gaming rig.

Also, you've got the boards mixed up in the first post. i3 is on the H81; i5 on the H61.
