cpu for gaming which is better

Solution
That's not a bad CPU by any means, but the i7 6700k would, naturally, be better. One important thing to note about these two CPUs comparatively is that if you like battlefield one, lots of people say they're not getting 60 FPS with the i5 (which makes sense, considering the company actually puts the i7 in the recommended hardware). If you can get the i7, definatly get the i7, but if your budget is tighter, do the i5.

The best gaming CPU is currently the i7 6700k. People seem to make a big deal out of this, but as long as your CPU can run the game at less than 100% usage, any bottlenecking done to the GPU by the CPU will be minimal. For example, my computer, which has 2x E5-2670s, which people say are bad for gaming, is within 10fps of the i7 6700k.
Another thing I forgot to ask, was which processors are you looking at? Different generations have much different performances.
