Hi
I am very confused about buying my new CPU 6700k or 6600k I just want the CPU for gaming and I got gtx1060 there is a little difference between 6700k and 6600k in gaming and 6600k is more powerful than core I 7 6700 in gaming!
But it is the minimum of battlefield1 is this right I mean is fx8350=6600k?????
Help PLZ!

Solution
No the FX 8350 isn't = 6600k CPU. The single core performance (which most games are based on) is less on the FX 8350. With that said the FX 8350 should be fine with the GTX 1060 or even the RX 480 if you desire to stick with an AMD GPU. Now as far as selecting a new CPU (if that is what your considering), the i5 6500 will be plenty for the GTX 1060, if that is the price range that your considering on buying for a GPU. The 6600k should be about as high as you would need to go for pretty much any GPU out on the market, if gaming performance is your #1 need for the system.

The best gaming CPU is currently the i7 6700k, but the 6600k is minimally slower than it. So the difference between the two would probably not even exceed 1fps unless it is a REALLY cpu-intensive game.

6600k is a very good CPU for gaming. The i7 for gaming is about = to the 6600k, but it adds Hyper Threading, which is beneficial in some games and also on other tasks that your computer can use. But for the best bang for the buck, the 6600k is your best bet. Now with that being said, if your going to keep the GTX 1060 in the system for quite some time, the i5 6500 will be plenty for that GPU and you can save the extra $ for something else, if you desire.
