Do I need to find minimum voltage required for a i5-6600k 4.6 ghz stable overclock?

Hi all,

First time overclocker, managed to get a 4.6 ghz overclock on 6600k with 1.27 V with temperatures on ROG Realbench maxing out at 76C with averages at 65-70C and about 6 degrees cooler on AIDA 64.

Originally I ran it at 1.275V, but decreasing it to 1.27 V seemed to also keep it stable. Should I try to find the lowest voltage I can get to run a stable overclock? Or is it fine as is. Also, manual voltage mode allows for voltages to drop at idle, is this normal? Reading guides and all are saying I should switch to adaptive mode after I've found a stable voltage through manual mode.

Thanks in advance for any help and answers! Have a good day.

Al

Solution
That's a decent OC at 1.27V. Method is to now decrease core voltage in small steps till your system is unstable when stress testing, then raise voltage till stable.
Ideal temps under load are 60-65C so be happy with what you have.
