Hi, i bought a new Radeon Rx 470 nitro+ and there is one problem. If i connect the 8 pin PCI-E cable to it the PC won't boot up. However with 6+2Pin PCI-E cable everything is fine. Any Ideas what is causing it?

My PC Specs are:-
CPU- AMD Fx 6300 CPU
Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
Ram- Kingston hyperx 1866mhz
PSU- Seasonic S12 II Bronze 620W
GPU- Sapphire Rx 470 Nitro+ 8gb ddr5

6+2 pin working fine

Stupid me . Turns out the PCI-E looking 8 pin connector is actually CPU connector. Why there is 4 CPU connector in my psu i have no idea. Glad nothing blew up.:D
