start-->type CMD-->press enter-->ipconfig /all
Look at your connection (wireless or ethernet, etc..) It will list DHCP enabled......yes or no
How many devices connect to your network? If it's a SOHO router at home, you may need to bounce your router, as it should be handling DHCP.
