Hi, I'm running Windows 7 pro on a Asus M5a99fx pro 2.0 mobo with a fx8320.
I bought a toshiba ocz pcie ssd yesterday and installed it. Windows recognizes it fine once I installed the driver, but I can't seem to get the bios to detect it.
I was hoping to make this my boot drive with OS on it.

Anyone have any experience or guidance to offer?

Can your motherboard actually boot from a PCI-E drive? Not all can.
You user manual will tell you yea or nay.

First, sorry for the down vote, that was an accident.

I looked into it for and wide, apparently it's doable but such a pain that I think I'll just spend the $100 and go pick up an Asus 970 pro gaming that comes with an m.2 slot.
