Hello, I already brought motherboard, PSU and SSD for my gaming computer. I found intel core i7 6700K on Newegg for $300 and MSI GeForce GTX 1070 for $380 with free Gears of War 4. Should I go ahead and buy those things or wait for Black Friday?

Thank you!

Also, if you are picking up the GTX 1070 at a store, buy it now, but don't open it. Keep everything in the bag with the receipt. If you find it cheaper in the next few weeks, go back and ask for a price match or return and re-buy.

This will also protect you if they lower the price and run out before you get there. If you are ordering online, you would have to factor in the cost of shipping a return back. I did this with the i5 6600K chip I mentioned above. it was too good a price to potentially lose out on, so I bought it, but will hold for a few weeks. Good luck!

I would wait for Black Friday or the following Monday, known as Cyber Monday. Unless you see a really good deal now, many items are at their lowest price of the year on these two days.

Some sites, like MicroCenter and NewEgg, already have some killer deals so you do need to keep checking and use your judgement. For example, I just picked up a new, boxed i5 6600K chip for $179 and a Thermaltake V21 case for $38.99 after rebate. These deals seemed too good to miss, but for my other components, I am still watching a waiting.

I guess, I'll just wait and see if it pays. I'm just afraid of losing that MSI GTX 1070 for $380 with rebate and a free game. But life isn't without risks ;D
