I'm building a new gaming pc and I would appreciate any comments or advice on the build. It's been a very long time since I built a computer so any help identifying any problems or incompatibility issues would be helpful. Also, any suggestions on cheaper but higher quality parts would be great.

Here's the link to the build on PC Partpicker. I used amazon and newegg for pricing the build since I would like to limit the number of vendors used. But if you know of a great deal somewhere else please share.

I will primarily be using it for gaming and video streaming. My wife will primarily be using it for music composition, music streaming, and home videos/photos. My budget is approximately $1,300.

Thanks!

Everything looks great except the power supply. The Evga G1 nex power supply were outsourced to another company that apparently makes crappy power supplies. The Evga supernova G2's are a much better unit and are 89.99 on Amazon right now for 650w or 750w.

Here's the build, save for this monitor though: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/rkphP6/asus-monitor-vg248qe

Solution
The Gaming 7 offers many features that won't be used by most users unless you're buying the board fully aware of the different headers etc. it has.
Hell, I don't even use my motherboard's rear IO at all save for the USB Type C header on the back.
The UD3 offers more than you'll really need tbh, but if you feel you need anything specific let me know, it's just unnecessary cost otherwise.

Updated build for ya, great deals atm! :)
