Can I somehow know wether my PC works or not without buying a OS yet? Im new to building a PC and I want to be sure that my PC actually works before I buy a very expensive OS. Is there any indication that my PC will function how its suppose to be without buying an OS?

you will be able to access the bios if it works
and even before that you will get an image on your monitor even if its just a black screen with writing telling you it cant boot as no operating system
