is there a specific requirement so I could use nvidia syncs?

Solution
If it supports Nvidias G-Sync it will say it on the information page, they have to pay NVidia, so they're gonna for sure tell you about it. With AMDs Freesync, it's a little less cut and dry because it's free to use, but still, it's relatively new and relatively few monitors are freesync capable, so again, it will say on the information page pretty quick that it's the newest tech. If you have to look for it, it probably doesn't have it.
