Additional cables for new pc build?

I will only be using a 144hz monitor for now. Do i need to buy additional cables? If so what cable would i benefit greatly from gaming. Monitor: VG248QE

You will need SATA cables for each HDD/Disk drive and a Display Port/HDMI cable for the monitor. You will see the best results from a Display Port cable.
