So... I am building a new system with these specs
SSD M.2: Intel 600p 512GB
GPU: Gtx1070
CPU: I7-6700k
Mobo: Asrock Z170 Extreme4
Ram: 2x16GB DDR4 2400mhz CL16 or maybe
a 2x8GB DDR4 3000mhz cl15 (still thinking about it.)
PSU: seasonic 620W S12II (yeah I know its a tier 2 psu)
Cooler: Hyper 212x (I will Upgrade to a Noctua Nh-U14S and a
Noctua Industrial - NF-A14 industrialPPC-3000 PWM within 2-3 months)
thing is... I will buy all parts except for the ram now in december 8
and I will only buy the ram by january 10.
I was wondering if I could use at least the GPU: Gtx 1070
in my current build during this month till my Ram Memory Arrives
since my current gpu is having some problems
(I tested in 3 differents builds, it is the gpu)
problem is my cpu is pretty weak
since already 4 computers of mine died (yeah...)
the cpu is an Athlon II X2 245 (2 cores, 2.9ghz) I know it sucks,
in my current build I do have 2x8GB DDR3 1600mhz CL14 tho
and I do know that there will definitely be a bottleneck
but besides lagging will there be any other problem?
I don't really plan to try to play any AAA Games until my ram arrives.
I would mostly use it for watching movies and play some mobas.
so I was wondering if it would have any problems besides bottlenecking
and lagging putting together this cpu plus gpu.
any help will be appreciated.
ps: I know its an old cpu, I will later on upgrade
to an fx 8320e and give the old build to my mom.
