Rn i have Patriot Signature Line 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL11 Dual Rank 1.5v should i get another of those so i have 16 like will it improve fps in games or not. OR should i get HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR4 2133MHz CL14 1.2v but then ill only have 8 cause i dont think it mathes with my actual memory right? thanks

Won't improve fps. You can have more programs open at the same time without one lagging/stuttering.

Removing/selling your current memory and buying a new set altogether and use those is the best way to be certain that it will work without any memory errors.

^ Going past 1600Mhz would probably not work anyway because the H81/B85/H97 chipset officially only supports up to 1600Mhz memory anyway. There's always a chance of failure/errors even if you invest in RAM with exactly the same frequency speed and latency timings. The 100% safe way is to invest in new RAM sets. There is always a little bit of risk involved in adding memory, It's up to you to take that risk. Plenty of people do take that risk and usually they are fine. However some run into said RAM issues by adding a module and then can't really figure out what's wrong.
