I bought my laptop just over 2 weeks ago and it's been having this problem from day 1. My laptop seems to disconnect from the wifi every 3-5 minutes for 5-10 seconds. The problem is definitely coming from the laptop, as this isn't happening to my phone or brother's pc. 5-10 seconds doesn't seem to be much of a big deal, but it very much disrupts online gaming as well as watching university lectures online. I'm certain I've downloaded all the required drivers and correctly. I've also turned off the option "Allow the computer to turn of this device to save power" under wifi > configure > power management (as suggested in some other post on this website). I've also tried disabling "Roaming sensitivity level" as commonly suggested by youtube videos. Neither fixed the issue. I'm lost for ideas. Would really appreciate some help.

he means that it may be malfunctioned or out of order. Try getting it replaced iif its under warranty. If they dont cover it, then get this for less that 10 bucks. you wont even notice it.
