Any ways to find out a notepad file which is not saved

Notepad doesn't create temporary files, so if you didn't save it then it's gone. If you did save the file, then it's where you saved it unless you deleted it. If you didn't delete it but the file's gone then your HDD is failing. If you did delete the file yourself then you might recover it using a data recovery program.
I'm not aware of a free data recovery program, but if the file really is important to you then google for "data recovery" and you'll find something.

For data recovery to be successful don't use the computer at all since the HDD writes things all the time and that might overwrite the file.


One last thing, if you saved the file but completely forgot where you can search for it. Open up the explorer (no, not Internet...

One last thing, if you saved the file but completely forgot where you can search for it. Open up the explorer (no, not Internet Explorer) and in the searchfiled either type in your filename or '*.txt' to find EVERY text-file you have on your computer.
