Hello everyone!I recently bought a new power supply same as the old one, and I got the blue screen of death while reinstalling windows but on the old 8.1 was working just fine. I checked the event logs, and it was the kernel power error 41. Ever since then, I've been getting reboots in my system. If anyone can tell me how to fix this error that would be awesome! Thanks!

p.s. Graphic card might be the problem? since it got an error while trying to install the drive followed by a blue screen, its like i cant install it from amd only the one that windows 8.1 provides, it doesnt have any sort of boots(default). Therefore i cant figure why i cant install it from amd, it might be that the problem? + i have this wierd multiple gpu's that i didnt had before i had only one

If you buy cheap power supplies, they can kill parts in the PC. It is possible there was a power surge that effected the GPU. You better off spending more on a good one and it won't kill your other parts. Good chance your PSU isn't capable of anything better than 400 even though it saya 750 on the case. I would buy one of the tier 3 power supplies here and they won't cost you anymore money for several years. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

these aren't good signs

You can't repair graphics cards, all you can do is replace it or RMA, depending how old they are. RMA means return it...

when windows starts it runs a report to check if pc turned off right the time before, if it finds that it didn't, it creates an event 41. Its not the cause, its just a symptom.

random restarts with no windows errors isn't pointing at windows, its more a hardware thing. Make sure power supply attach right I guess.

Are you still getting bsod? Can you download and run who crashed: http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed
it will look at the bsod codes and give us a summary of the error

Copy/paste results in here and I see what I can do.

Ok so i had my answer from the service and they said its the GPU, they put in a new GPU of theirs and windows goes through instalation and completes with no error id41 or so, my point is why is the GPU since it worked normaly before, right after i changed the PSU on the old windows, and than started to BSOD right after i tried to reinstall windows? i mean i didnt do anything to the PC meanwhile it was working on the old windows. So my question is this: The PSU can be the cause for the GPU problem? since i cant even install the GPU driver and it gives me an error, the strange thing is thtat with a new GPU it works fine they said even if the GPU isnt toasted or so, it appears to have an uncomon problem. If its the GPU Mr.Colif what might cause the issue of the GPU because they said the GPU works but it turns out with that error and they couldn't test the GPU on another PC due to lack of 750W PSU. Maybe the VideoCard needs repair? or is something wrong with the wires/plugs at the PSU for the GPU, Thanks again for your time, and I would appriciate any advice or help you give me because its 350$ that GPU :(

Best Regards
